Although I've been making jewelry for about 6 years, my jewelry box isn't overflowing. I very rarely create a piece exclusively for myself. Last week I decided to treat myself!
I spent an entire day shopping for a dress to wear to a friend's wedding and I had no luck. I decided to drag an old little black dress from the closet and make a fabulous necklace to spruce it up. Luckily, my trusty supplier of gemstones, Lima Beads, had my package waiting at my doorstep on Friday evening. I spent the night before the wedding putting together my necklace, but it was well worth it. This is a piece I'm definitely not ready to give up!
